Successful Field Trip!!!!!

Our field trip to the Family Museum and the glass blowing studio was very successful!! At the museum the students learned about gravity and friction by creating their own roller coaster and through other experiments.

At the glass blowing studio the children got to see how glass paper weights and bowls were made. It was very cool to see but very HOT inside!!!!!! With perfect weather for the trip, our hike along the bike path gave us a chance to see all of the cool things we have here locally.

Thanks to all of our chaperones! We couldn't have done it without you.

Field Trip

On April 23 we will be taking our 2nd grade field trip to the Family Museum in Bettendorf, and then heading to a local artist's studio in Rock Island. If you are interested in chaperoning please let us know. The cost is $5.50 per student and $4.00 per adult. Any other questions please call.
